Fires bolts of electrical energy that deal little damage but can short-circuit enemy systems, causing them to lose power. Can penetrate shields while draining them.
The Disruptor is an energy weapon that can be attached to ships and stations. It fires bolts of electrical energy capable of draining the power of enemy systems, and penetrating shields.
Versus shields, its attacks work differently against small and large generators. Small shields will always be penetrated, whilst large shields with at least 13 energy will resist penetration entirely. This allows the bolt to hit — but not penetrate — another shield at 7-13 energy, or pass through like a small shield at 6 energy or below.
