A powerful defensive system that can destroy enemy missiles, lasers, and projectiles. Can also inflict moderate damage to enemy ships.

The Flak Array, formerly Flak Battery, is a defensive weapon that is effective against projectiles and missiles. Unlike the Point Defense System, the Flak Battery can also shoot down laser and Disruptor bolts. The weapon has a narrow firing arc, meaning good placement is essential to maximise the defensive potential.
