Fuses together four rounds of projectile ammunition to greatly enhance damage and penetration depth compared to the Standard Cannon.

The Large Cannon is a larger and more powerful version of the Standard Cannon that can be added to ships and stations. It fuses four individual rounds of projectile ammunition into a single round to greatly enhance damage and penetration depth.

The upgrade comes at the cost of damage/ammo ratio, at 600 vs the 750 of the Standard Cannon, whilst also dropping the velocity from 200m/s to 125m/s, making it harder to land accurate hits. However, the size of the large cannon allows a replacement of 3:2, significantly increasing the damage dealt per surface tile.
