Mine parts are by far the best way to convert sulfur and iron to credits, making it very profitable to mine or buy the abundant raw ingredients and sell the output.
Alternatively, it's a good way to efficiently process and sell ammo, sulfur and iron picked up from pirate bases and cannon/missile ships when using laser weapons.
