Parts are a primary component of Cosmoteer's gameplay loop. They are the pieces used to assemble all ships featured in-game, including Terran, Ancient, Asteroids, and Megaroids. Each category has it's own selection of parts, with Terran being the most notable as it encompasses all player and faction ships.
Terran Parts
The Terran ship type is the main type that players build with in Cosmoteer. This is a fairly standard type of ship, requiring crew to operate parts and deliver resources to parts that need it. The ship scale is 1.0x, so a 1x1 part is 1m2 in Area.
