Stores a limited cache of plasma batteries that may be used by nearby ship's systems.

The Power Capacitor is a power part that can be added to ships and stations. It stores a maximum of 18 plasma batteries ready for distribution to nearby parts by Crew as needed. Bigger batteries, such as those produced by the Medium and Large Reactor Cores, are converted down to single batteries when inserted into a capacitor.

Unlike reactors, capacitors do not explode upon destruction, making them a good choice for more vulnerable parts of the ship that require fast energy access.
