A power generator that produces the plasma batteries needed to power many of the ship's systems.

The Small Reactor Core is a power part that can be added to ships and stations. It can store up to 8 plasma batteries which can be distributed to nearby systems by the crew.

When destroyed the Small Reactor Core will explode. The resulting damage will radiate outwards up to 6 meters. Within that radius, the first 3 meters of corridor parts will be completely destroyed, the next meter will be reduced to structure parts, and the final 1 to 2 meters will be damaged and/or on fire. The explosion radius can be reduced using armor.

Trivia:

Reactor core explosions can damage enemy ships, causing great damage and spreading fire.

This isn't recommended, as reactors are expensive and are not worth losing in battle.
