As the Cooperative grew, more and more attention was being drawn to its subsuming nature. While there was some individual resistance that was quickly stamped out, the most successful opposition was the formation of a rival conglomeration, though that proved futile. As all the CEOs were paid off all of their assets were transferred, the process was only quickened. These stations are the only remaining record of the conglomeration, as it's name was quickly and quietly completely scrubbed from the Monolith Archive.
