An optional component placed behind a Modular Rocket Thruster's Nozzle or other Extender. Each extender increases its maximum thrust, power usage, and ramp-up time. Battery fuel capacity may be extended with up to two Fuel Pods.

The M.R.T. Extender Module is a part that can be added to ships. It is an optional component for the Modular Rocket Thruster that increases the maximum thrust force at the cost of higher power usage and a longer ramp-up time. Extenders can be stacked multiple times, and each individual extender can have two fuel pods attached to increase the power capacity.

Extender modules are directional and must be oriented correctly to function. A green 'energy bolt' symbol' will appear when hovering over the extender if the orientation is correct. Furthermore, extender modules must be stacked directly atop a nozzle or previous module — they cannot be placed horizontally, or offset to the side.

Orientation

Extender modules will not function if they are placed in the wrong orientation, indicated by a red error icon which appears on the nozzle. When an extender is placed correctly, a green ship icon will be seen when hovering over it.
