A power generator that produces double-capacity plasma batteries needed to power many of the ship's systems.

The Medium Reactor Core is a power part that can be added to ships and stations. It can store up to 16 plasma batteries which can be distributed to nearby systems by the crew, and each battery holds 2.0 power. It produces 3x the energy of the Small Reactor while only costing double. The balance of production speed, charge time, size and cost make this a good generalist option, requiring less attention to crew management to make full use of versus the Large Reactor.

When destroyed, the resulting explosion will radiate outwards up to 10.5 meters. Within that radius, the first 5.5 meters of Corridor parts will be completely destroyed, the next 2 to 3 meters will be reduced to structure parts, and the final 2 to 3 meters will be damaged and/or on fire.
