Extends the battery fuel capacity of an attached M.R.T. Nozzle or Extender by four batteries.

The M.R.T. Fuel Pod is a part that can be added to ships. It is a component of the Modular Rocket Thruster, and can be attached to the sides of an M.R.T. Nozzle Module or M.R.T. Extender Module to increase the power storage of the overall thruster. Each nozzle or extender can support two fuel pods.

Fuel pods are directional and must be oriented correctly. A green 'energy bolt' symbol will be visible on the adjacent nozzle or extender if the orientation is correct. Furthermore, fuel pods must be placed directly to the sides of nozzles or extenders and will not function if attached to the top or bottom faces.

Orientation

Fuel pods will not function if they are placed in the wrong orientation, indicated by a red error icon which appears on the adjacent extender. When a fuel pod is placed correctly, hovering over it will show a green energy bolt icon on the attached extender.
