Tactics

While Hardhat has quite a bit of firepower for its size, its defenses are pitiful, so as long as yours are up to snuff, you should be fine. You'll want a mix of armor and shieldsto mitigate its various weapons. Instead of tactically targeting any of its weapons, it's best to go for Hardhat's reactor, which doesn't have much armor in front of it at all, making it easy to destroy. If you're feeling confident, you can instead choose to blast through its large cannon and destroy the cockpit to preserve more of the ship for salvaging.
