While this ship's disruptor could cause problems for ships that rely on shields, Haywire's only damaging armament being a single point defense gun makes it a laughably easy ship to defeat, especially as you can choose to target its cockpit to save its reactor, allowing you to immediately get a small early-game stash of Enriched Uranium.
