Voltage is a tier 1 scout ship used by the Fringe Systems Resistance.
Voltage is a fairly weak ship, being nearly harmless alone but potentially dangerous with other ships. With only two frontal disruptors, it can't deal high damage by itself. It has rather dense armor for its size, which can draw out a head-on fight given it will survive decent damage while potentially turning your weapons off. Continuous firepower will break the armor and eventually destroy the reactor, but a fast ship can flank it and destroy its exposed cockpit or reactor fairly easily. With other ships, it can be an annoying enemy due to its focus on disabling shields, potentially opening room for stronger weapons to hit your ship. Use the aforementioned strategy or a well aimed HE missile to destroy it, or an EMP to disable it, assuming your ship can't just melt it down with superior weapons.
