Tactics

The Avalanche is a fairly weak ship, with its unfocused ion beams incapable of piercing shields or tunneling through armor easily, and its reactor exposed. Its four shields can cause problems for ships that lack disruptors or EMPs, but aside from that this ship poses little threat for its size and is a good target for Cosmoteers just reaching into tier 8.
