Hentzau is a tier 10 frigate used by the Fringe Systems Resistance.
Hentzau is an incredibly dangerous ship for its size - not fighting it at all is valid and perhaps even necessary here, depending on your ship. Its eight HE missiles are all on one side of the ship, allowing them to easily overwhelm point defense and flak. Its singular chaingun and two disruptors on its other side can easily take down shields and burst through your defenses to destroy your ship. Its weapons can also fire out to the sides to catch flankers. Hentzau's heavy armor will also make it hard to destroy as well. It's best to flank Hentzau and attempt to destroy its missiles quickly - they have some level of armor, so your flankers will need to be well-armed. Striking at Hentzau's backside to destroy its control room is also a very effective tactic. The ship Hentzau's facing towards should target Hentzau's disruptors and chaingun - that ship should also have disruptors in order to get past Hentzau's multiple small shields protecting its chaingun. Also keep in mind that Hentzau still has quite a lot of armor in front of its chaingun.
Ramming and strafing are also very effective tactics - while strafing is not so effective as its weapons can still fire perfectly off to its sides, it makes it easier to shoot at Hentzau's chaingun. Ramming Hentzau is similar - you'll be able to easily circumvent its defenses. Ramming Hentzau's missile side is harder, due to its shape, but doing so locks down almost all its weapons, while ramming its chaingun side is easier but also exposes you to its missiles hitting your rear.
